O Sistema Único de Saúde deve analisar pedidos de transferência de gestante e cuidar da transferência segura quando houver comprovada falta de aptidão técnica e pessoal da maternidade. This provision says the law will be funded by budget resources from Social Security, the Union, the States, the Federal District, and the Municipalities, plus other supplementary sources. Pregnant women assisted by SUS have the right to know in advance and be linked to the maternity where they will give birth and where they will be treated if prenatal complications arise.
