(no amdt) ALBERTA REGULATION 65/2026 Oil and Gas Conservation Act OIL AND GAS CONSERVATION REGULATION Interpretation 1 (1) In this Regulation, (a) “energy resource enactment” has the same meaning as in the Responsible Energy Development Act ; (b) “specified enactment” has the same meaning as in the Responsible Energy Development Act . (2) For the purpose of the Act, “reasonable care and measures” includes an action that must be taken to comply with the following: (a) an energy resource enactment; (b) a specified enactment; (c) Agricultural Pests Act ; (d) Weed Control Act . Expiry 2 For the purpose of ensuring that this Regulation is reviewed for ongoing relevancy and necessity, with the option that it may be repassed in its present or an amended form following a review, this Regulation expires on March 31, 2031. Coming into force 3 This Regulation comes into force on May 1, 2026.
