F55 Regulation 70/2007 Registered April 23, 2007 bilingual version (HTML) Definitions 1 In this order, "Act" means The Income Tax Act (Manitoba); («  Loi  ») "municipal taxes" , "municipal tax reduction" and "principal residence" have the same meaning as in the Act; (« réduction de taxes municipales », « résidence principale » et « taxes municipales ») "taxpayer" means an individual whose municipal taxes for the 2007 taxation year are reduced under subsection 5.6(1) of the Act. (« contribuable ») Remission granted 2 In respect of municipal taxes imposed for the 2007 calendar year, remission is granted to each taxpayer in an amount that is the lesser of $125. and the amount determined by the following formula: A − B − C In this formula: A is the amount of the municipal taxes imposed for the 2007 calendar year in respect of a principal residence of a taxpayer; B is the amount of the municipal tax reduction on that residence for 2007; C is the lesser of $250. and the amount determined for A.
