Adoption of ventilation standard 3 The provisions of sections 3, 3.1, 4 and 4.1 of The Smoking and Vapour Products Control Act requiring a separate ventilation system in a tobacconist or vapour products shop, or in a room designated as a smoking room, an e-cigarette use room or a combined smoking and e-cigarette use room under that Act, are adopted as building construction standards in Manitoba. Transitional amendments 4 Subsections 2(3) to (5) of the Schedule to this regulation are repealed on the day before the date that a new edition of the National Building Code of Canada , issued by the Canadian Commission on Building and Fire Codes of the National Research Council of Canada, is adopted as the building code in Manitoba under section 3 of The Buildings Act .
