B93 Regulation 79/2023 Registered July 7, 2023 bilingual version (HTML) Adoption of National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings 2020 1 Subject to the amendments set out in the Schedule, the National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings 2020 , issued by the Canadian Commission on Building and Fire Codes of the National Research Council of Canada is adopted as the energy code in Manitoba. No substitution 2 Subject to The Buildings Act , no code issued by the Canadian Commission on Building and Fire Codes of the National Research Council of Canada as a substitution or replacement of the National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings 2020 is adopted in Manitoba. Repeal 3 The Manitoba Energy Code for Buildings , Manitoba Regulation 213/2013, is repealed. Coming into force 4 This regulation comes into force on January 1, 2024.
