F55 Regulation 115/92 Registered June 8, 1992 bilingual version (HTML) Definitions 1 In this order, "Act" means The Income Tax Act (Manitoba); («  Loi ») "pension benefit" means a retroactive lump sum received as a pension benefit by a retired employee in December 1989 or February 1990 as a result of the amalgamation of pension plans of the City of Winnipeg in the Province of Manitoba; (« prestation de retraite ») "retired employee" means a person who was an employee of the City of Winnipeg in the Province of Manitoba and who is retired and who received a pension benefit. (« employé retraité ») Remission 2 Remission is hereby granted to each retired employee of the amount by which the taxes, interest and penalties payable by the retired employee under the Act exceed the amount of taxes, interest and penalties that would have been payable by the retired employee if the portion of the retired employee's pension benefit applicable to a year preceding the year in which it was received had been received in that preceding year.
