M.R. 115/2025 Control of vehicles on resource roads 3(1) The minister may cause signs to be posted on or adjacent to resource roads prohibiting, controlling or governing the operation of vehicles on those roads. 3(2) The minister may cause signs to be posted on or adjacent to a resource road closing the road to the operation of vehicles, and in that event may cause gates or barricades to be erected. Prohibition 4 Except under the authority of a permit issued under section 5, no person shall operate a motor vehicle or an off-road vehicle in contravention of a sign posted under section 3. Permits 5(1) The minister may issue a permit authorizing the holder of the permit to operate a vehicle on a resource road. 5(2) A permit may be issued subject to such terms and conditions as the minister considers appropriate. Damage or removal of signs, etc. 6 No person shall damage, destroy, deface or remove a sign, gate or barricade that is posted or erected under this regulation.
