AND WHEREAS The Municipal Act , R.S.M. 1988, c. M225, provides in part as follows: 215(1) Subject to subsections (2) and (3) the council of a municipality may pass by-laws ... (c) for closing any highway; or ... notwithstanding that the title to the land upon which the highway is situated is vested in the Government of Manitoba. AND WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to close the portions of the road allowances and roads referred to in sections 1 and 2; NOW THEREFORE the Minister of Aboriginal and Northern Affairs enacts as follows: Portion of Government Road Allowance closed 1 Under this section, all those portions of Government Road Allowance shown within Parcel B on a Plan of Survey of lands required for the Mosakahiken Cree Nation (Part Site 7.1.4), Deposit Plan No. 856/2002, are closed. Portion of road closed 2 Under this section, Parcels A, B, C and D on a Plan of Public Road as shown on Deposit Plan No. 991/2002 are closed. Effective date 3(1) Section 1 is effective on the day Deposit Plan No 856/2002 is registered in the Portage la Prairie Land Titles Office. 3(2) Section 2 is effective on the day Deposit Plan No. 991/2002 is registered in the Portage la Prairie Land Titles Office.
