CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 137/96 Town of Cow Head Order under the Municipalities Act (O.C. 96-170) Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order. ORDER Analysis 1. Short title 2. Boundaries 3. Repeal Schedule Short title 1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Cow Head Order . Back to Top Boundaries 2. The boundaries of the Town of Cow Head are as set out in the Schedule. Back to Top Repeal 3. Newfoundland Regulation 614/78 is repealed. Back to Top Schedule Beginning at a point on the south bank of Stanford River , that point being the point where the South Bank of Stanford River intersects the eastern shoreline of Shallow Bay at the highwater mark ; Then running south 45° east a distance of 3,325 metres; Then running south 45° west a distance of 6,500 metres; Then running north 45° west a distance of 2,450 metres, to a point at the highwater mark on the southeast shoreline of Cow Cove; Then running along the sinuosities of the shoreline at the highwater mark by way of Cow Cove, the peninsula of Cow Head, Cow Head Harbour, Downe's Point and Shallow Bay to the point of beginning.
