ORDER Analysis 1. Short title 2. Boundaries 3. Repeal Schedule Short title 1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Flatrock Order . CNLR 170/96 s1 Back to Top Boundaries 2. The boundaries of the Town of Flatrock are as set out in the Schedule. CNLR 170/96 s2 Back to Top Repeal 3. Newfoundland Regulations 638/78 and 245/91 are repealed. CNLR 170/96 s3 Back to Top Schedule Beginning at a point in a small cove to the south of Herring Cove, that point having co-ordinates north 5 281 924.95 metres and east 325 972.02 metres of the modified three-degree transverse mercator projection for the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, and being the centre of the mouth of small brook commonly known as Little Herring Cove River; Then following the centre of Little Herring Cove River in a general northwesterly direction to a point at the intersection of Little Herring Cove River and a small brook, that point having co-ordinates north 5 282 160.22 metres and east 325 824.56 metres; Then following the centre line of the small brook to a point having co-ordinates north 5 282 182.35 metres and east 325 813.40 metres in the southern boundary of land of Ronald J. Ryan (registered in Volume 136, Folio 34 in the Registry of Crown Grants); Then following the southern boundary of land of Ronald J. Ryan to its intersection with the limit of Wind Gap Road, that point having co-ordinates of north 5 282 489.56 metres and east 325 436.24 metres; Then crossing Wind Gap Road to a point in the southern boundary of land of Leo J. Ryan (Lease No. 34871 registered in Registry of Crown Grants) having co-ordinates north 5 282 510.20 metres and east 325 414.11 metres; Then following the southern boundary of land of Leo J. Ryan and by the southern boundary of land of Ed Ryan (Lease No. 29253 registered in the Registry of Crown Grants) to a point where the prolongation of the southern boundary of land of Ed Ryan meets the centre of Pouch Cove Road, that point having co-ordinates north 5 282 596.23 metres and east 325 040.98 metres; Then continuing along the centre line of the Pouch Cove Road to a point having co-ordinates north 5 283 444.5 metres and east 324 733.74 metres, that point being the point of intersection of the centre line of the Pouch Cove Road with the centre line of Old Deer Marsh Road, that being designated as the Northern Path; Then following the centre line of the Northern Path to a point in the common boundary of land of Ed Ryan and land of Leo J. Ryan (Lot 1 registered in Volume 139, Folio 75, in the Registry of Crown Grants), that point having co-ordinates north 5 283 593.49 metres and east 324 228.32 metres; Then following the boundary of land of Leo J. Ryan in a general northerly and southwesterly direction to the northern boundary of other land of Leo J. Ryan (Lease No. 29250 registered in the Registry of Crown Grants); Then continuing along the northern boundary of land of Leo J. Ryan , Lease No. 29250, to a point having co-ordinates north 5 283 644.81 metres and east 323 420.34 metres; Then turning and running along the western boundary of land of Leo J. Ryan, Lease No. 29250, and its prolongation south 38° 52' 56" west 791.20 metres to a point having co?ordinates north 5 283 028.90 metres and east 322 923.68 metres; Then turning and running south 84° 57' 59" west 528.04 metres to the most southerly point on the Middle Pond watershed, that point having co?ordinates north 5 282 982.58 metres and east 322 397.69 metres; Then due west 1979.64 metres to a point having co-ordinates north 5 282 982.58 metres and east 320 418.05 metres; Then north 31° 45' east 290 metres, more or less, to a point on the Pouch Cove watershed boundary (North Three Island Pond) at co-ordinates north 5 283 230 metres and east 320 571 metres; Then in a northeasterly direction along the watershed boundary to a point at co-ordinates north 5 286 520 metres and east 323 655 metres; Then due east 400 metres, more or less, to a point on the northern tip of Half Moon Pond at Half Moon Brook; Then in a general northerly direction along Half Moon Brook to a point on the highwater in Stiles Cove; Then running in a general southerly direction along the coastline via Red Head Cove, Red Head, Flat Rock Cove, Flat Rock Point and Herring Cove to the point of commencement.
