CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 176/96 Town of Gallants Order under the Municipalities Act (O.C. 96-170) Amended by: 1996 c25 (Changes communities to towns) CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 176/96 Town of Gallants Order under the Municipalities Act (O.C. 96-170) Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order. ORDER Analysis 1. Short title 2. Boundaries 3. Repeal Schedule Short title 1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Gallants Order . CNR 176/96 s1 ; 1996 c25 Back to Top Boundaries 2. The boundaries of the Town of Gallants are as set out in the Schedule. CNR 176/96 s2 ; 1996 c25 Back to Top Repeal 3. Newfoundland Regulations 659/78 and 202/91 are repealed. CNR 176/96 s3 Back to Top Schedule Beginning at a point, that point being a height of land southeast of the Town of Gallants having co-ordinates north 5 394 475 metres and east 410 650 metres; Then south 78° 30' west a distance of 3,400 metres, more or less, to a high point having co-ordinates north 5 393 800 metres and east 407 320 metres; Then north 8° 30' east a distance of 2,825 metres, more or less, to a high point having co-ordinates north 5 396 575 metres and east 407 750 metres; Then north 86° 30' east a distance of 1,700 metres, more or less, to a high point having co-ordinates north 5 396 700 metres and east 409 425 metres; Then south 29° 00' east a distance of 2,525 metres to a high point , that point being the point of beginning.
