CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 197/96 Town of Gambo Order under the Municipalities Act (O.C. 96-170) Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order. ORDER Analysis 1. Short title 2. Boundaries 3. Repeal Schedule Short title 1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Gambo Order . Back to Top Boundaries 2. The boundaries of the Town of Gambo are as set out in the Schedule. Back to Top Repeal 3. Newfoundland Regulation 265/80 is repealed. Back to Top Schedule Beginning at a point on the northern shoreline of Freshwater Bay , that point being located 150 metres, more or less, southeast of the mouth of Traverse Brook; Then running north 1,825 metres, more or less; Then running west 14,325 metres, more or less; Then running south 13,875 metres, more or less; Then running east 5,475 metres, more or less; Then running north 3,950 metres, more or less, to a point on the southern shoreline of Freshwater Bay; Then running in a generally northwesterly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline to a point on the east bank of the mouth of Gambo Brook; Then running due west across the mouth of Gambo Brook to a point on the western shoreline of Freshwater Bay ; Then running in a generally northeasterly direction along the sinuosities of the western shoreline of Freshwater Bay via Gambo North, Dark Cove, Middle Brook South and Lower Dark Cove to the point of beginning.
