CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 228/96 Town of Heart 's Content Order under the Municipalities Act (O.C. 96-170) Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order. ORDER Analysis 1. Short title 2. Boundaries 3. Repeal Schedule Short title 1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Heart's Content Order . Back to Top Boundaries 2. The boundaries of the Town of Heart 's Content are as set out in the Schedule. Back to Top Repeal 3. Newfoundland Regulation 883/78 is repealed. Back to Top Schedule Beginning at a point, that point being the most western extremity of Bacon Cove Head; Then in a generally easterly direction a distance of 6,775 metres, more or less, to the southern extremity of Murphy's First Pond; Then in a generally southerly direction a distance of 7,650 metres, more or less, to the southeastern abutment of Halfway Bridge; Then in a generally westerly direction a distance of 7,050 metres, more or less, to the most northern extremity of Hanging Hill Pond; Then in a generally northwesterly direction a distance of 5,975 metres, more or less, to a point, that point being where a small brook flowing from Freshwater Pond meets the sea; Then following the sinuosities of the shoreline in a generally northerly direction to the point of commencement. 883/78 ©Earl G.
