CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 404/96 Town of St. Lewis Order under the Municipalities Act (O.C. 96-170) Amended by: 1996 c25 (Changes communities to towns) CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 404/96 Town of St. Lewis Order under the Municipalities Act (O.C. 96-170) Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order. ORDER Analysis 1. Short title 2. Boundaries 3. Repeal Schedule Short title 1. This Order may be cited as the Town of St. Lewis Order . CNR 404/96 s1 ; 1996 c25 Back to Top Boundaries 2. The boundaries of the Town of St. Lewis are as set out in the Schedule. CNR 404/96 s2 ; 1996 c25 Back to Top Repeal 3. Newfoundland Regulation 103/81 is repealed. CNR 404/96 s3 Back to Top Schedule Beginning at a point, that point being the westernmost tip of Fox Harbour Pond; Then north 75° west a distance of 350 metres, more or less, to the eastern end of an unnamed pond; Then in a generally northwesterly direction along the southern shore of the pond to the westernmost tip of the pond to a point, that point being the centre of an unnamed stream where the unnamed stream flows out of the pond; Then following the centre thread of the stream in a generally northwesterly direction a distance of 500 metres, more or less, to a point, that point being the centre of the brook where the stream flows into an unnamed pond; Then along the southern shore of the pond a distance of 750 metres, more or less, to a point, that point being the centre of an unnamed stream where the stream flows out of the pond; Then along the centre thread of the stream in a generally westerly direction 150 metres, more or less, to a point being the centre of the stream where the stream flows into an unnamed pond; Then following the shoreline of the pond in a generally southwesterly direction to a point, that point being on the eastern bank of the pond where the pond flows into Port Marnham; Then following the highwater mark of the coastal sinuosities of St. Lewis Sound via Port Marnham, Soldier Island, Fox Harbour and Fisherman Point to a point, that point being on the highwater mark of St. Lewis Sound a distance of 1,100 metres, more or less, southeast of Fisherman Point; Then north 31° east a distance of 2,150 metres, more or less, to a horizontal control monument at the summit of an unnamed hill; Then north 25° west a distance of 700 metres, more or less, to a point on the southern shore of Fox Harbour Pond; Then in a generally northwesterly direction along the southern shore of Fox Harbour Pond to the point of commencement.
