CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 494/96 Town of Whitbourne Order under the Municipalities Act (O.C. 96-170) Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order. ORDER Analysis 1. Short title 2. Boundaries 3. Repeal Schedule Short title 1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Whitbourne Order . Back to Top Boundaries 2. The boundaries of the Town of Whitbourne are as set out in the Schedule. Back to Top Repeal 3. Newfoundland Regulation 859/78 is repealed. Back to Top Schedule Beginning at a point, that point being where the CN rail line crosses the 30 metre eastern reservation of the Argentia Highway ; Then running in a generally northerly direction along the reservation to the 45 metre southern reservation of the Trans Canada Highway ; Then running in a generally easterly direction along the 45 metre southern reservation to a point, that point being a distance of 1,600 metres, more or less, east of the East Access Road to Whitbourne; Then running south 2° east a distance of 5,375 metres, more or less, to a point on the eastern shoreline of Hoopers Pond; Then running south 88° west a distance of 2,700 metres, more or less, to a point on the 15 metre eastern reservation of the Colinet Highway; Then running in a generally northerly direction along the eastern reservation of the highway a distance of 375 metres, more or less; Then south 88° west a distance of 3,450 metres, more or less, to the point of commencement.
