CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 696/96 Notice of Protected Water Supply Area under the Environment Act (O.C. 96-153) Under the authority of section 10 of the Environment Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council designates the area generally known as the Shingle Pond Water Supply Area for the Town of Long Harbour and Mount Arlington Heights as a protected water supply area. NOTICE This area includes all lands described as follows: That is to say by a line drawn from military grid reference 286000 5260000 105° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 625 metres to the commencement point; Then from the above point by a line drawn 94° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 700 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn 38° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 600 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn 127° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 750 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn 202° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,950 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn 245° 00 grid azimuth for a distance of 450 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn 271° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 900 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn 241° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 250 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn 341° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 300 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn 38° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 800 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn 11° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,200 metres to the point of commencement. All bearings refer to Grid North. 216/93 The Shingle Pond Water Supply Area Notice for the Town of Long Harbour and Mount Arlington Heights, Newfoundland Regulation 216/93, is repealed.
