CNLR 815/96 - Benton Local Planning Area under the Urban and Rural Planning Act

CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 815/96 Benton Local Planning Area under the Urban and Rural Planning Act (O.C. 96-173) Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council defines the following area as the Benton Local Planning Area. PLANNING AREA Beginning at a point, that point being the southern abutment of the railway bridge crossing Soulis Brook; Then running south 26° west a distance of 1,400 metres, more or less, to a point, that point being 400 metres from the centre line of the Trans Canada Highway; Then running parallel to the centre line of the Trans Canada Highway along the bearing south 76° east for a distance of 610 metres, more or less; Then running north 21° east for a distance of 427 metres, more or less, to the most southeasterly point of an unnamed pond; Then following the eastern shoreline of the unnamed pond in a generally northerly direction to the most northeasterly point of the pond; Then running north 60° east a distance of 1,067 metres, more or less, to a point on the centre line of the Canadian National Railway; Then due north for a distance of 396 metres to a point on the southern shoreline of Soulis Pond; Then following the southern shoreline of Soulis Pond and the south bank of Soulis Brook in a generally westerly direction to where the southern abutment of the railway bridge crosses Soulis Brook, the point of beginning.
