CNLR 823/96 - Burgeo Municipal Planning Area under the Urban and Rural Planning Act

CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 823/96 Burgeo Municipal Planning Area under the Urban and Rural Planning Act (O.C. 96-173) Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council defines the following area as the Burgeo Municipal Planning Area. PLANNING AREA Beginning at a point, that point being on the southern bank of Kelly Brook where Kelly Brook flows into Bay de Loup at the highwater mark; Then following the sinuosities of the shoreline in a generally southwesterly direction to a point, that point being the southernmost point on the east side of King's Harbour; Then running in a southwesterly direction 1,800 metres, more or less, to the easternmost point of Greenhill Island; Then running due south a distance of 4,400 metres, more or less; Then running due west a distance of 6,150 metres, more or less; Then running due north a distance of 1,300 metres, more or less, to a point, known as Fox Point; Then running in a generally northerly direction following the sinuosities of the shoreline of Barasway Bay to a point where a small unnamed stream flows into the sea north of Coombes Islands ; Then running in a generally northwesterly direction following the sinuosities of the shoreline passing Coombes Head, First Arm, along the northern shoreline of The Canal to a point located at the northwestern end of The Canal; Then running in a generally northerly direction following the sinuosities of the eastern bank of Grandy Brook to where it meets the southern bank of the mouth of Seal Brook; Then running in a generally northeasterly direction following the south bank of Seal Brook to a point directly under the highway passing over the brook; Then running in a generally northeasterly direction still following the south bank of that brook a distance of 2,743 metres, more or less; Then running south 30° east a distance of 4,877 metres, more or less, to a height of land east of King's Harbour Brook; Then running south 28° east a distance of 3,300 metres, more or less, to the point of beginning.
