CNLR 913/96 - Raleigh Municipal Planning Area under the Urban and Rural Planning Act

CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 913/96 Raleigh Municipal Planning Area under the Urban and Rural Planning Act (O.C. 96-173) Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council defines the following area as the Raleigh Municipal Planning Area. PLANNING AREA Beginning at a point, that point being on the eastern highwater shore line of Ha Ha Bay and having a military grid reference of 891135; Then south 24° east a distance of 400 metres, more or less, to the summit of Ha Ha Mountain; Then due east a distance of 900 metres, more or less, to a point on the eastern bank of Tom Eddison's Brook where the brook flows under Route 437; Then in a generally southeasterly direction along the eastern bank of the brook to a point where the brook flows out of an unnamed pond; Then in a southerly direction along the western shoreline of the pond to a point on the northern bank of an unnamed brook where the brook flows out of the pond; Then along the northern bank of the brook in a southwesterly direction to a point where the brook flows into Pistolet Bay at Carpon Cove; Then along the highwater shoreline of Pistolet Bay by way of Isthmus Cove, Isthmus Point, Falaise Point, Whale Cove and Burnt Cape; Then in a generally southwesterly and then northwesterly direction along the highwater shoreline of Ha Ha Bay by way of Piton Point, to the point of beginning. All bearings are referred to grid north and as with distances given are subject to approximation. 228/89 Newfoundland Regulation 228/89 is repealed. ©Earl G. Tucker, Queen's Printer
