CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 969/96 Consolidated Orders under the Public Service Collective Bargaining Act (O.C. 96-115) Amended by: 23/98 34/98 2001 c42 s45 2006 cR-7.1 s30 96/11 47/20 2022 cP-30.1 s68 2023 c18 s55 CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 969/96 Consolidated Orders under the Public Service Collective Bargaining Act (O.C. 96-115) Under the authority of subparagraph 2(1)(i)(ii) of the Public Service Collective Bargaining Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order. ORDER 1. The following are designated as employing "employees" within the meaning of the Public Service Collective Bargaining Act: (a) Bay St. George Youth Assessment Centre; (b) Bill and Paul's Community Living Arrangement; (c) CARA Transition House, Gander; (d) Committee on Family Violence Association, Corner Brook; (e) Gander and District Continuing Care Program; (f) Grace Sparkes Transition House; (g) Hoyles Home and Escasoni Senior Citizens Complex, St. John's; (h) The John Howard Society Home for Youth, St. John's; (i) Iris Kirby House; (j) Libra House Inc.; (k) Lions Manor Nursing Home, Placentia; (l) Naomi Centre; and (m) St. John's Home Care Program. 96/11 s1 2. Memorial University of Newfoundland Medical Clinics Association is designated as employing "employees" within the meaning of the Public Service Collective Bargaining Act . 194/85 3. [Rep. by 96/11 s2] 96/11 s2 3.1 The conseil scolaire constituted under the Schools Act, 1997 is designated as employing employees within the meaning of the Public Service Collective Bargaining Act. 23/98 s1 ; 2023 c18 s55 3.2 [Rep. by 2006 cR-7.1 s30] 2006 cR-7.1 s30 4. The agencies, boards, commissions, corporations and other bodies listed in Schedule B are designated as employing "employees" within the meaning of the Public Service Collective Bargaining Act. 126/85 5. [Rep. by 2006 cR-7.1 s30] 2006 cR-7.1 s30 6. The following are designated as coming under the authority of the Public Service Collective Bargaining Act: (a) Alcohol and Drug Dependency Commission; (b) Central Laundry, Pleasantville; and (c) senior citizens homes described in Schedule A. 85/84 7. The following Orders under the Public Service Collective Bargaining Act are repealed: (a) Order designating St. John's Home Care and Gander and District Continuing Care Programs as employing "employees", Newfoundland Regulation 195/89; (b) Order designating certain facilities as "employing employees for the purpose of the Act", Newfoundland Regulation 2/88; (c) Order designating Memorial University of Newfoundland Medical Clinics Association as Employing "Employees", Newfoundland Regulation 194/85; (d) Order designating "group homes" for the purposes of the Act, Newfoundland Regulation 152/85; (e) Public Service (Collective Bargaining) Order (No. 1), 1985, Newfoundland Regulation 126/85; (f) Designation of the Newfoundland Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation as an "Employer", Newfoundland Regulation 35/85; and (g) The Public Service (Collective Bargaining) Order, 1984 No. 1, Newfoundland Regulation 85/84.
