CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 980/96 Young Offenders Act ( Canada ) Order under the Young Offenders Act ( Canada ) (O.C. 96-184) Amended by: 50/98 CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 980/96 Young Offenders Act ( Canada ) Order under the Young Offenders Act ( Canada ) (O.C. 96-184) Under the authority of sections 2 and 24.1 of the Young Offenders Act ( Canada ) and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order. ORDER For the purposes of the Act (a) social workers employed by the government of the province and registered social workers employed by a regional health and community services board constituted under section 4 of the Health and Community Services Act and the Grenfell Regional Health Services Board are designated as youth workers; and (b) group homes for young offenders throughout the province are designated as "open custody facilities". 135/84; 50/98 The Order re: Young Offenders Act ( Canada ) No. 2, Newfoundland Regulation 135/84, is repealed. ©Earl G.
