COSTS

1. The following costs are payable upon conviction for the purposes of subsection 60 (1) of the Act: 1. For service of offence notice or summons $5.00 2. Upon conviction under section 9 of the Act 5.00 3. Upon conviction under section 9.1 of the Act 10.00 4. Upon conviction under section 18 of the Act as it read on August 31, 1993 3.75 5. Upon conviction under subsection 18.2 (6) of the Act 16.00 6. Upon conviction under section 18.4 of the Act 12.75 7. Upon conviction under subsection 54 (1) of the Act 30.00 8. For service of a parking infraction notice issued other than under a municipal by-law 3.75 O. Reg. 493/94, s. 1; O. Reg. 240/98, s. 1; O. Reg. 469/05, s. 1. 2. Costs may be awarded under subsection 60 (2) of the Act for the items and to a maximum of the amounts following: 1. Fee for each witness for each day necessarily in attendance when trial scheduled $6.00 2. Travel expenses for each witness, i. where witness resides in place where trial held 2.50 ii. where witness does not reside in place where trial held, a kilometre allowance as set out in Regulation 11 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 entitled “Kilometre Allowances”.
