EMPLOYER RECOVERY OF COSTS

Exception to prohibition against cost recovery 1. For the purposes of subsection 8 (2) of the Act, the following are prescribed as costs that an employer may recover or attempt to recover from a foreign national or other prescribed persons: 1. Costs of air travel and of work permits, if the employer is permitted to deduct such costs under an employment contract made pursuant to the Government of Canada program known as the “Seasonal Agricultural Worker Program”. 2. Omitted (provides for coming into force of provisions of this Regulation).
