DEEMED SERVICE OF NOTICES

Deemed service 1. (1) If service of a notice under section 17.5, 17.6 or 17.7 of the Act is made by email, the notice is deemed to have been served on the business day after the email was sent or on the day the notice was received, whichever is earlier. (2) If service of a notice under section 17.5, 17.6 or 17.7 of the Act is made by registered mail, the notice is deemed to have been served on the fifth business day after the day the mail was sent or on the day the notice was received, whichever is earlier.
