H-5, Council made the following regulations: 1. Exemption (1) A commercial motor vehicle owned by a non-resident is exempt from registration in Prince Edward Island to the same extent as a commercial motor vehicle owned by a resident of Prince Edward Island would be exempt from registration if it were operating in like circumstances in the province, state, or territory in which the non-resident is resident. Idem (2) The exemption under subsection (1) does not apply to a commercial motor vehicle owned by a non-resident if the vehicle is used to pick up goods, wares, or merchandise from a point within the province for delivery to another point within the province.
