P-30 Council made the following regulations: 1. Permit required, exception Except where a disinterment of human remains is ordered by a coroner, the Supreme Court or the Attorney General, no person shall disinter human remains unless he first obtains a disinterment permit. (EC562/82; 639/93) 2. Application for permit An application for a permit shall be made to the Chief Health Officer and shall provide such information as he may require. (EC562/82) 3. Issue The Chief Health Officer may issue a permit. (EC562/82) 4. Directions of Chief Health Officer Where a permit is issued under section 3 or where a disinterment of human remains is otherwise ordered under the authority of an enactment, the Chief Health Officer shall give such directions as he may determine respecting the disinterment, transportation, storage and reinterment of the human remains.
