C- 2.1, Council made the following regulations: 1. Annual Support Fee The prescribed annual support fee payable, under subsection 8(1) of the Act, to a certified fisheries organization is $500. Additional certification requirements In addition to the eligibility criteria or requirements for certification required under subsection 7(3) of the Act, in order to be eligible for certification, a fisheries organization shall satisfy the Minister that the fisheries organization (a) has membership in each of the three counties in the province; and (b) has, as members at the time the fisheries organization applies for certification, at least 20% of the total number of persons who are fishers.
