Interpretation 2 In these regulations: (a) “angling licence” means an angling licence required pursuant to The Fisheries Regulations; (b) “2006-07 angling season” means: (i) in the case of an angling licence for the southern and central zones, the season ending on March 31, 2007; (ii) in the case of an angling licence for the northern zone, the season ending on April 15, 2007; (c) “fee” means the fee prescribed in Table 1 of The Fisheries Regulations, as that Table existed immediately before the coming into force of The Fisheries Amendment Regulations, 2006, for an angling licence for the 2006-07 angling season; (d) “minister” means the member of the Executive Council to whom for the time being the administration of The Fisheries Act (Saskatchewan), 1994 is assigned; (e) “remission” means a remission of a fee already paid for an angling licence for the 2006-07 angling season; (f) “senior” means a Saskatchewan resident who is 65 years of age or older. 30 Jne 2006 cF-13.4 Reg 35 s2. Remission 3 Every person who was a senior at the time he or she acquired an angling licence for the 2006-07 angling season is granted a remission of the fee paid for the angling licence by the senior. 30 Jne 2006 cF-13.4 Reg 35 s3. 4 SENIORS’ ANGLING F-13.4 REG 35 LICENCE FEE REMISSION Condition 4 The remission granted pursuant to section 3 is granted on the condition that the senior: (a) apply for the remission to the minister on or before September 30, 2006; and (b) provide the minister with information to establish to the minister’s satisfaction that the applicant: (i) acquired his or her angling licence for the 2006-07 angling season before the day on which The Fisheries Amendment Regulations, 2006 came into force or paid a fee for his or her angling licence for the 2006-07 angling season on or after the day on which The Fisheries Amendment Regulations, 2006 came into force; and (ii) is entitled to the remission. 30 Jne 2006 cF-13.4 Reg 35 s2.
