1 PROVINCIAL HIGHWAY DESIGNATION, 1990 H-3 REG 17 The Provincial Highway Designation Regulations, 1990 being Chapter H-3 Reg 17 (effective April 1, 1990) as amended by Saskatchewan Regulations 12/2014, 107/2015 and 59/2022. Interpretation 2 In these regulations, “official highway map” means the Official Highway Map that appears in Part I of the Appendix and includes the Regina Bypass Official Highway Map that appears in Part II of the Appendix. 11 Dec 2015 SR 107/2015 s3. Provincial highways designated 3(1) Subject to subsections (2) and (3), the public highways shown on the official highway map under the heading “Provincial Highways” are designated as provincial highways. (2) If a public highway shown on the official highway map as a provincial highway passes through a city or a rural municipality, that portion of the public highway that lies within the city or the rural municipality is a provincial highway except for the portions of public highways listed below: (a) any portion that lies within the boundaries of a city except for any portion of the Regina Bypass shown in Part II of the Appendix that lies within the boundaries of the City of Regina; (b) the following portions of public highways: (i) Town of Assiniboia: (A) Highway 2 South (Centre Street) from the south edge of Sunset Drive to the south edge of Highway 13 East (1st Avenue); (B) Highway 2/Highway 13 (1st Avenue) from the east edge of Leeville Street - to the Railroad; (ii) Town of Canora: (A) Highway 5 West (Railway Avenue) from the west edge of Highway 9 to the Railroad; (B) Highway 9 from the south edge of 8th Avenue to the north edge of Highway 5 West (Railway Avenue); (iii) Town of Esterhazy, Highway 22 (Park Avenue) from the west edge of Short Street to the west edge of James Street (west urban limit); 4 H-3 REG 17 PROVINCIAL HIGHWAY DESIGNATION, 1990 (iv) Town of Fort Qu’Appelle, Highway 210 (Broadway Street) from the west edge of Highway 35 to the west urban limit (30.52m west along the south edge of Highway 210 from the west corner of the intersection of Qu’Appelle Crescent with Highway 210); (v) Town of Gravelbourg: (A) Highway 43 (1st Avenue) from the east urban limit (132.87m east of the east property line of parcel A on Highway 43 East) to the west urban limit (303.03m west of the west property line of parcel AA on Highway 43 West); (B) Highway 58 North (Magnan Street) from the north edge of Highway 43 (1st Avenue) to the north urban limit (54.01m north of the north property line of parcel R on Highway 58 North); (vi) Town of Kamsack: (A) Highway 5 (Queen Elizabeth Boulevard) from the start of 4-lane to the east edge of Highway 8 North (Edmonton Avenue); (B) Highway 8 South (Railway Avenue) from the west edge of 7th Avenue to the south edge of Highway 5 (Queen Elizabeth Boulevard); (vii) Town of Kerrobert, Highway 21 (Pacific Avenue) from the north edge of Highway 21 South to the south edge of Peters Street; (viii) Town of Maple Creek, Highway 21 (Pacific Avenue) from the east edge of Highway 21 South to the Railroad; (ix) Town of Moosomin, Highway 8 South (Main Street) from the south edge of Wright Road to the north edge of Old Highway (Park Avenue); (x) Town of Nipawin: (A) Highway 55 East (Nipawin Road) from the east edge of Evergreen Drive to the west edge of Highway 35 (1st Avenue); (B) Highway 35 (1st Avenue) from the north edge of Old Highway 35 to the south edge of Highway 55 East (Nipawin Road); (xi) Town of Outlook, Highway 15 (Saskatchewan Avenue and McKenzie Street) from the east edge of Christie Street to the south edge of Hall Avenue; (xii) Town of Preeceville, Highway 49 (Highway Avenue) from the east edge of 7th Street North East to the west edge of 3rd Street North West; (xiii) Town of Regina Beach, Highway 54 (Centre Street) from the north edge of Highway 54 East to the north edge of Railway Avenue; (xiv) Town of Rosetown, Highway 4 from the north edge of Highway 7 (Railway Avenue) to the north edge of Marshall Avenue; 5 PROVINCIAL HIGHWAY DESIGNATION, 1990 H-3 REG 17 (xv) Town of Tisdale, Highway 35 (100th A Street and 100th Street/ Main Street) from the north edge of Highway 3 to the north edge of 112th Avenue; (xvi) Town of Wadena: (A) Highway 5 (Pamela Wallin Drive) from the west edge of 8th Street North East to the west urban limit (the east edge of 4th Street North West); (B) Highway 35 (Main Street) from the north edge of 1st Avenue South to the Railroad; (xvii) Town of Watrous, Highway 2 East (1st Avenue) from the east urban limit (the west edge of Highway 365) to the west edge of 3rd Street West; (xviii) Town of Wilkie, Highway 29 (2nd Avenue) from the east edge of 5th Street West to the west edge of 6th Street East. (3) Any portion of a public highway, as shown on the official highway map, that lies or is situated wholly within the boundaries of the Prince Albert National Park is deemed not to be a provincial highway. (4) Within the boundaries of the Rural Municipality of Sherwood, north of the City of Regina, the following are designated as provincial highways: (i) the portion of Inland Drive from the intersection of Provincial Highway 6 east to the intersection with Range Road 2193; (ii) the portion of Range Road 2193 from the intersection of Inland Drive south 800 metres to Provincial Highway 0460RUA. 16 Mar 90 cH-3 Reg 17 s3; 11 Apr 2013 SR 12/2014 s2; 11 Dec 2015 SR 107/2015 s4; 5 Aug 2022 SR 59/2022 s2.
