MINISTER’S ORDER NO.: 332-2025-WR2 ORDER for Reducing Weight Designation on Provincial Highways Pursuant to clause 35.1(1)(d) of The Highways and Transportation Act, 1997, the Minister hereby Orders: 1. Minister’s Order for Highway 332 signed on April 29, 2015 is rescinded. 2. Minister’s Order for Highway 332 published in the Saskatchewan Gazette on October 10, 2003 is rescinded. 3. For the purpose of managing traffic on and protecting provincial highways, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that effective 12:01 AM, September 3, 2025 unless restricted by a Minister’s Order issued under clause 35.1(1)(a) of The Highways and Transportation Act, 1997, any person, vehicle or class of vehicles is hereby restricted to operate at the weights set out in Part Four pursuant to The Vehicle Weight and Dimension Regulations, 2010, on provincial highway No. 332, from northwest corner of land location Section 24, Township 16, Range 16, West of the Third Meridian to the Village of Hazlet, except for that portion of Provincial Highway 332 between its east junction with Provincial Highway 37 and its west junction with Provincial Highway 37, shall be restricted as follows: 4. Allowed weights: a. Steering Axle - 10.0 kg per mm (560 pounds per inch) width of tire (manufacturer’s stamped dimension) to a maximum of 5,500 kg on the steering axle for a truck or truck tractor equipped with a single steering axle, - 11,000 kg on the steering axle group for a truck or truck tractor equipped with a tandem axle steering group; and, 1 b. Other Axles - 6.25 kg per mm (350 pounds per inch) width of tire (manufacturer’s stamped dimension) to a maximum of 1,650 kg (3,638 pounds) per tire. c. Gross Vehicle Weight - Total gross vehicle weight can not exceed 8,000 kg and cannot exceed 6,000 kg on any axle group. 5. This order does not permit the weight on any axle, axle group or vehicle from exceeding the maximum weight prescribed in the “The Vehicle Weight and Dimension Regulations, 2010” for that axle, axle group or vehicle. 6. The restriction does not apply to: • Emergency vehicles; • Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure vehicles and municipal maintenance equipment when conducting maintenance or accessing sites on or along the restricted highway; • SaskPower, SaskEnergy and SaskTel vehicles when accessing sites along the restricted route; • Recreational vehicles; • Buses; • Farm Equipment operated or towed.
