In order to preserve the integrity of the original statutes and regulations, errors that may have appeared are reproduced in this consolidation. 2 c 18 SIKH HERITAGE MONTH 2025 CHAPTER 18 An Act to proclaim the month of April as Sikh Heritage Month WHEREAS Sikh Canadians represent a growing and dynamic population in Saskatchewan; WHEREAS Sikh Canadians have made important contributions to Saskatchewan’s social, economic, political and cultural life; WHEREAS it is important to support Sikh heritage, art and culture and those organizations in Saskatchewan that promote and enhance Sikh social and cultural life; and WHEREAS April is an important month for Sikh Canadians that includes the celebration of Vaisakhi and marks the creation of the Khalsa Panth. HIS MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows: Short title 1 The Sikh Heritage Month Act.
