In order to preserve the integrity of the official Statutes and Regulations, errors that may have appeared are reproduced in this consolidation. 2 AIR, ARMY, SEA AND NAVY LEAGUE c A-16.2 CADETS RECOGNITION DAY Table of Contents 1 Short title 2 Declaration 3 Coming into force 3 AIR, ARMY, SEA AND NAVY LEAGUE CADETS RECOGNITION DAY c A-16.2 CHAPTER A-16.2 An Act to recognize the Air, Army, Sea and Navy League Cadets in Saskatchewan Preamble WHEREAS the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan recognizes, honours, salutes, and celebrates the tremendous contributions of Air, Army, Sea and Navy League Cadets in Saskatchewan; and WHEREAS the Cadet Organization is sponsored by the Canadian Forces and the Air, Army and Navy League; and WHEREAS the aims of the Cadet Organization are to develop in youth the attributes of good leadership and citizenship, promote physical fitness, and educate youth on the role played by the Canadian Forces; and WHEREAS the Cadet Organization helps young women and men to develop self- ‑confidence, self‑esteem and teamwork that encourages them to become active, responsible members of their communities; and WHEREAS through the Cadet Organization, society is investing in today’s youth as well as Saskatchewan and Canada’s future. THEREFORE HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows: Short title 1 The Air, Army, Sea and Navy League Cadets Recognition Day Act. Declaration 2 The first Saturday in November in each year is declared to be “Air, Army, Sea and Navy League Cadets Recognition Day” in Saskatchewan. 2008, c A-16.2, s 2.
