In order to preserve the integrity of the original statutes and regulations, errors that may have appeared are reproduced in this consolidation. 2 c P-15.02 POLICE AND PEACE OFFICERS’ MEMORIAL DAY CHAPTER P-15.02 An Act respecting a Memorial Day to honour Police and Peace Officers Preamble WHEREAS Saskatchewan police and peace officers make valuable contributions to the safety of Saskatchewan citizens; AND WHEREAS Saskatchewan is proud of the selfless contributions of fallen police and peace officers and honours those police and peace officers who serve Saskatchewan; THEREFORE HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows: Short title 1 This Act may be cited as The Police and Peace Officers’ Memorial Day Act. Last Sunday in September to be memorial day 2 The last Sunday of September of each year is designated as “Police and Peace Officers’ Memorial Day” in Saskatchewan. 2006, c P‑15.02, s 2.
