In order to preserve the integrity of the original statutes and regulations, errors that may have appeared are reproduced in this consolidation. 2 c R-22.1 REVISED STATUTES, 1979 CHAPTER R-22.1 An Act respecting The Revised Statutes of Saskatchewan, 1978 Short title 1 This Act may be cited as The Revised Statutes Act, 1979. Ratification and confirmation of Revised Statutes of Saskatchewan, 1978 2 Notwithstanding sections 4, 6, 7 and 8 of The Revised Statutes Act, 1974: (a) the incorporation, by the committee appointed by Order in Council No. 1579/73, of the public Acts of Saskatchewan passed during the fourth and fifth sessions of the eighteenth Legislature in the consolidation and revision of the statutes of Saskatchewan, and the inclusion of the Acts so passed in the printed roll of statutes attested by the Lieutenant Governor and countersigned by the Provincial Secretary, is ratified and confirmed; (b) the roll of printed statutes so attested and countersigned and deposited in the office of the Clerk of the Legislative Assembly on February 12, 1979 is deemed to have been, on and from that date, the original roll of The Revised Statutes of Saskatchewan, 1978; and (c) the proclamation of the Lieutenant Governor declaring the original roll of The Revised Statutes of Saskatchewan, 1978 to come into force on February 26, 1979 is ratified and confirmed and the public Acts of Saskatchewan contained in the original roll are, on and from February 26, 1979, deemed to have been in force on and from that date as if they were expressly enacted by The Revised Statutes Act, 1974. 1979, c R‑22.1, s 2.
