About this statute

This part sets rules for registering eligible start-up businesses and venture capital corporations, limits their investments and tax credit use, and creates reporting, inspection, repayment, and offence provisions. The Act lets the Lieutenant Governor in Council make regulations on many operational matters, and those regulations can be retroactive back to April 1, 2021 or later. The Act also comes into force on proclamation.
