Exclusion Approval Order for Certain Former Members of the Canadian Forces Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the President of the King’s Privy Council for Canada, under section 20 of the Public Service Employment Acta, approves the exclusion, by the Public Service Commission, from the application of section 35.11b of that Act of persons who S.C. 2003, c. 22, ss. 12, 13 S.C. 2015, c. 5, s. 4 during the period beginning on November 13, 2020 and ending on January 18, 2024, completed their third year of service in the Canadian Forces, and were honourably released within the meaning of regulations made under the National Defence Actc; and R.S., c. N-5 created an account in the Public Service Resourcing System on or before January 18, 2024. Whereas the Public Service Commission has decided that it is neither practicable nor in the best interests of the public service to apply section 35.11b of the Public Service Employment Acta to persons who created an account in the Public Service Resourcing System on or before January 18, 2024; And whereas, in accordance with subsection 20(2) of the Public Service Employment Acta, the Public Service Commission has consulted with the employer; Therefore, the Public Service Commission, under section 20 of the Public Service Employment Acta, excludes from the application of section 35.11b of that Act persons who Gatineau, December 23, 2024
