Order Specifying the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for the Purposes of the Employment Equity Act

Order Specifying the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for the Purposes of the Employment Equity Act Whereas, pursuant to paragraph 4(1)(d) of the Employment Equity Acta, the Treasury Board has consulted the Solicitor General of Canada concerning the application of that Act to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police; S.C. 1995, c. 44 Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Labour and the Treasury Board, pursuant to paragraph 4(1)(d) of the Employment Equity Acta, hereby makes the annexed Order Specifying the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for the Purposes of the Employment Equity Act. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police is specified under paragraph 4(1)(d) of the Employment Equity Act as a portion of the public sector employing one hundred or more employees to which that Act applies. This Order comes into force on the day on which it is registered.
