Prescribed Products Regulations

Prescribed Products Regulations His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 978a of the Bank Actb, section 463c of the Cooperative Credit Associations Actd and section 531e of the Trust and Loan Companies Actf, hereby makes the annexed Prescribed Products Regulations. S.C. 2005, c. 54, s. 135 S.C. 1991, c. 46 S.C. 2005, c. 54, s. 208 S.C. 1991, c. 48 S.C. 2005, c. 54, s. 449 S.C. 1991, c. 45 For the purposes of sections 385.131 and 385.241 of the Cooperative Credit Associations Act and sections 434.1 and 442.1 of the Trust and Loan Companies Act, the following products are prescribed: deposit type instruments as defined in the Deposit Type Instruments Regulations; and principal protected notes as defined in the Principal Protected Notes Regulations. These Regulations come into force on November 1, 2011.
