Statute overview

About this statute

This provision says when the rules apply for applications for medical authorization and related permissions, and gives the Danish Patient Safety Authority power to grant authorization on application. The applicant must document that their foreign authorization has not been withdrawn or restricted abroad, and must meet the education/completion conditions for recognition; missing clinical hours are compensated by extending the evaluation employment. The applicant must complete and have approved the required practical-clinical evaluation placements and complete the related mandatory courses, plus complete a course and pass an exam in Danish health legislation.
