Statute overview

About this statute

For variable-rate borrowing operations, the reference rate must be one of the basic rates used for interbank operations in organized markets. Authorized borrowing from earlier years that has not yet been taken up may be formalized under the operations authorized in Articles 99 and 100, with notice to the relevant finance committee of the Cortes of Aragón. Aragon’s Government may convert debt for better administration if the issue’s essential terms and holders’ economic rights are not harmed; changes to the planned use of a public debt issue need approval from the Cortes de Aragón.
