Statute overview

About this statute

Certain practices are exempted from the prohibition in Article 1 of Law 110/1963 if they do not let participants exclude price competition, are necessary for the planned reconversion goals, and do not last longer than the reconversion execution period. If the reconversion plan leads to suspension of employment relationships or reduced working hours, companies benefit from the exemption in Article 20.3 of Law 51/1980. The sectoral reconversion plan must set the working-conditions regime for affected employees, and if staff transfers are planned it must also set the related legal and economic guarantees.
