Statute overview

About this statute

All educational centres must meet minimum requirements to provide teaching with quality assurance, and the Government will set those minimum requirements by regulation. Teachers, parents, and, where applicable, students must take part in the control and management of concerted schools through the school council. Concerted schools must have a director, school council, and teachers’ board; the director has listed management powers, and education authorities may require a single set of these bodies for multi-level schools funded with public money.
