Statute overview

About this statute

Anyone in charge of, or using, property or rights from the Principality of Asturias’ assets must protect, conserve, use them for their intended purpose, and, where appropriate, manage them rationally. If a responsible person, by intent or negligence, causes loss or damage to patrimony assets after breaching the previous article’s obligations, the Consejo de Gobierno may fine them between one and three times the damage caused. The Administration of the Principality of Asturias has powers to demarcate, recover property ex officio, and investigate the assets and rights in its patrimony.
