Statute overview

About this statute

Questions not covered by the Agreement or the bilateral treaties are to be resolved under each Contracting Party’s domestic law. Los órganos competentes deben promover the agreement, exchange useful information, and keep each other informed of relevant domestic legal changes. The parties must resolve disputes by negotiation and consultation, and the Mixed Commission must meet alternately in each party’s state. When transporting dangerous or perishable goods, both contracting parties must ensure compliance with the ADR and ATP requirements. Se prohíben ciertos transportes de viajeros o mercancías entre puntos del Estado de la otra Parte Contratante, y algunos transportes transfronterizos solo pueden hacerse con autorización especial o con las autorizaciones del artículo 6. Drivers must carry a national or international driving licence and the vehicle’s national registration documents. The licence must match the model set by the 1968 Road Traffic Convention.
