Statute overview

About this statute

The Judicial Secretary is responsible for the statistics of each judicial body, and the relevant Government Secretaries must ensure the data are accurate and timely. The Judicial Statistics information must be taken directly from the procedural management information systems used by judicial bodies, and the Plenum of the General Council of the Judiciary approves the data structures and transmission/capture procedures. The President of the Judicial Statistics Committee has power to call meetings when there are pending matters, set the agenda, direct deliberations, and represent the Committee. El Comité de la Estadística Judicial puede crear grupos de trabajo para informes o propuestas, y también designar a sus miembros. The committee’s decisions are adopted by a majority of those present, and the secretary must prepare a brief record of each meeting.
