About this statute

The source state may tax dividends paid by a resident company to a resident of the other contracting state, but the tax is capped at 0% or 10% depending on ownership. Interest from one contracting state may be taxed only in the other contracting state if the beneficial owner is a resident there, subject to listed exceptions. Royalties from one contracting state paid to a beneficial owner resident in the other state may be taxed only in that other state, subject to exceptions.
