Statute overview

About this statute

This provision requires transparency information to be published on the Asturias government’s transparency portal or on the relevant entities’ corporate websites, and it requires the portal to support participation tools and a directory of linked transparency platforms. The right to access public information belongs to any natural or legal person and is exercised by prior request. Access to information is free, except that a fee or public charge may be collected for copies or for costs caused by converting the information into a different format, and the amount cannot exceed the real cost incurred. Regula qué authority handles access requests and requires certain bodies to communicate their competent offices to the transparency department.
