The Director-General or, in their absence, the Deputy Director-General Market Infrastructure and Payments and the Head or, in their absence, the Deputy Head of the Market Infrastructure Management Division of the Directorate-General Market Infrastructure and Payments, shall jointly sign on behalf of the ECB new agreements or amendments to existing agreements which have been entered into with customers of the ECB on the provision of fund transfer services in the TARGET-ECB component system (TARGET-ECB). 2\. The persons referred to in paragraph 1 shall also jointly sign termination of agreements on the provision of fund transfer services in TARGET-ECB that the ECB has entered into with TARGET-ECB customers, pursuant to Article 24(1) of Annex I to Decision (EU) 2022/911 (ECB/2022/22).
