It is therefore necessary to appoint external auditors for the 2023 financial year. ---|--- (3) | The Nationale Bank van België/Banque Nationale de Belgique has selected KPMG Bedrijfsrevisoren/KPMG Réviseurs d’Entreprises BV/SRL as its external auditors for the financial years 2023 to 2028. ---|--- (4) | The Governing Council of the ECB recommended that KPMG Bedrijfsrevisoren/KPMG Réviseurs d’Entreprises BV/SRL be appointed as the external auditors of the Nationale Bank van België/Banque Nationale de Belgique for the financial years 2023 to 2028. ---|--- (5) | Following the recommendation of the Governing Council of the ECB, Council Decision 1999/70/EC (2) should be amended accordingly, ---|--- HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 In Article 1 of Decision 1999/70/EC, paragraph 1 is replaced by the following: ‘1. KPMG Bedrijfsrevisoren/KPMG Réviseurs d’Entreprises BV/SRL are hereby approved as the external auditors of the Nationale Bank van België/Banque Nationale de Belgique for the financial years 2023 to 2028.’.
