KG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, will end following the audit for the financial year 2026. It is therefore necessary to appoint external auditors for the financial year 2027. ---|--- (3) | The Deutsche Bundesbank intends to extend the mandate of Baker Tilly GmbH & Co. KG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft to the financial year 2027. Such an extension is possible in accordance with the contractual arrangements between the Deutsche Bundesbank and Baker Tilly GmbH & Co. KG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft. ---|--- (4) | The Governing Council of the ECB has recommended that Baker Tilly GmbH & Co. KG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft be appointed as the external auditors of the Deutsche Bundesbank for the financial year 2027. ---|--- (5) | Following the recommendation of the Governing Council of the ECB, Council Decision 1999/70/EC (2) should be amended accordingly, ---|--- HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 In Article 1 of Decision 1999/70/EC, paragraph 2 is replaced by the following: ‘2. Baker Tilly GmbH & Co. KG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft are hereby approved as the external auditors of the Deutsche Bundesbank for the financial years 2021 to 2027.’.
